This Blonde Ale is smooth, crisp and great for any season.  We think you will be very pleased!

ABV: 5.2%

Packaging: 6-packs of 12oz cans

Pairs well with:  Absolutely everything OSU!!

By the way, here's a few more tid bits you might like:

-The 5.2% Alc/Vol (ABV) is our nod to the 52 NCAA titles won by OSU Athletics

-The 11 IBUs (which relates to the amount of hops in the beer) is a subtle little reference to the 11 OSU Golf Team championships.

-Finally, 1890 Original. OSU was founded in 1890 and this beer is a true Original!

ABOUT US

STAFF

-OUR STORY-

In 2014, after years of planning and construction, Jerod Millirons and Dave Monks founded Iron Monk Brewing Company, bringing the first craft brewery to Stillwater, Oklahoma. With over 30 years of combined brewing experience and a shared entrepreneurial spirit, they tirelessly set out to create exciting, local, handcrafted brews.

In late 2015, Iron Monk opened the state's premier tap room to share their craft directly with brewery fans and friends, and brewery tours started just a few weeks later.

-JEROD MILLIRONS, Cofounder-

Jerod is a hands-on, mechanically-inclined hardworking dude that enjoys all aspects of operating a brewery: from setting up equipment to handling the finances.  He is also just a little fanatical about OSU sports!

Jerod is a native of Duncan who earned a degree in Biology and an MBA at OSU. After establishing a successful rental property business, he combined his two passions for business and beer and cofounded Stillwater's first brewery.

-DAVE MONKS, Cofounder-

As you can see from these pictures, Dave is a fun-loving practical joker that keeps the staff in good spirits. Originally from Ft. Gibson, he grew up exploring caves, practicing various art forms (he's been known to draw the labels of some of our beer. Check out Bright D. Weizensour and the Imperial Stout) and studying the sciences.

After doing undergraduate research at OSU, attaining his PhD from NCSU and teaching for over a decade in Stillwater, Dave applied his years of experience in home brewing to cofound Iron Monk.

-TRENTON INSELMAN, CEO-

Trenton Inselman, our dynamic CEO, hails from the close-knit town of Morrison, OK, and is a proud alumnus of Oklahoma State University. With a deep-rooted passion for both his community and his alma mater, Trenton has seamlessly blended his professional achievements with his personal values.

Before stepping into the role of CEO, Trenton made a significant mark as the head brewer at Iron Monk, where he crafted the celebrated 1890 Original—the official craft beer of OSU athletics. This unique brew stands as a testament to his dedication and creativity, embodying the spirit of both the university and the community he cherishes.

Trenton's generosity and commitment to his local community are at the heart of everything he does. Alongside his professional endeavors, he is a devoted husband to Maci and a loving father to their daughter, Nila.

Trenton's favorite beer is the 1890 Original, a unique recipe he hand-crafted for his love of OSU!

-ZAK FLESHMAN, Head Brewer-

Zak Fleshman, from Morrison, OK, is a brewing enthusiast with an unwavering passion for his craft. Zak’s dedication to brewing is evident in every batch he creates, and his enthusiasm shines brightly whenever he shares his latest creations with the taproom.

Zak’s blend of passion for brewing and love for the outdoors makes him an integral part of our team, and his infectious energy and commitment to quality are deeply appreciated by everyone who enjoys his craft. When Zak isn’t immersed in the brewing process, he can often be found exploring the scenic landscapes on his bike.

Zak's favorite beer is the Milk Stout, a classic, and the very first beer we brewed back in 2015!

-DEREK FIX, Sales Representative-

Derek Fix, our dedicated sales representative from Sand Springs, OK, is a true ambassador for our brand. With a knack for spreading the word and building connections, Derek excels at getting our name out there and showcasing our offerings to a wider audience.

Derek’s passion for craft beer runs deep, and his enthusiasm is evident in every conversation he has about our products. His genuine love for the craft beer community fuels his drive and makes him an invaluable asset to our team.

Whether he’s forging new partnerships or sharing his knowledge with fellow beer enthusiasts, Derek’s commitment to excellence and his vibrant energy help elevate our brand and ensure that our message resonates with craft beer lovers everywhere.

Derek's favorite beer is the Iron Sombrero Cerveza, a can he designed himself!

- KATIE STENMARK, HEAD BARTENDER

Katie, from Franklinton, NC, is our head bartender at the Iron Monk Taproom, is the heartbeat of our vibrant atmosphere. With a dedication to ensuring that every visit is memorable and filled with enjoyable events, Katie’s warm presence and expertise make the taproom a welcoming space for all.

Beyond her role behind the bar, Katie leads our engaging Iron Monk Brewery tours, offering guests an insider’s view of our brewing process and the passion that goes into each of our beers. Her enthusiasm for craft beer is matched by her academic pursuits—during the day, Katie is a PhD student in Crop Science at OSU. Her research focuses on growing hops in Oklahoma, reflecting her deep commitment to both the science and art of brewing.

Katie’s favorite beer is the Exit 174 Rye Pale Ale, a testament to her appreciation for well-crafted brews!
